approach

markets are mostly noise. i trade the part that isn't.

crypto trades around the clock, moved by leverage, sentiment, and machines. holding through that is not a strategy — it's exposure. every position here is opened, sized, and closed by code, long and short across crypto derivatives, built to hold its shape when regimes change.

research is falsification: most ideas die in testing, and the few that survive are traded exactly as validated — no tuning in production, no exceptions by hand. the edges are small. the discipline is that they stay small, stay diversified, and compound.

why systematic

rules-based execution

execution never improvises. what was tested is what trades — the backtest and the live book are the same machine.

long / short

direction is an output, not a belief. downtrends are traded, not endured.

risk-adjusted, always

return per unit of drawdown is the score that matters. position sizing does more work than any entry signal.

always on

crypto never closes. neither do the systems — monitored, health-checked, and allowed to act at 4am.

the systems

alphabrain research

a multi-factor research engine: onchain and options-derived signals, tested against history, validated walk-forward. everything that survives feeds alphacore. most things don't survive.

alphacore execution

the execution layer. trend and breakout systems traded long and short, fully automated, watched by machines that never sleep and answer to no one's mood.

risk

drawdown defense

the long/short book breathes with the market. when everything falls at once, short legs and cash do the catching — the drawdown is designed to be shorter and shallower than the market's.

liquidity-aware sizing

positions are sized to what the market can absorb, not to conviction. the exit is planned before the entry exists.

layered monitoring

three layers watch the book: the strategy, the platform, and the alarms watching both. anomalies escalate; silence escalates faster.

hard stops

every system has a kill switch it cannot argue with. failure defaults to flat, never to hope.

systematic   marketshorter, shallower drawdowns — illustrative, not performance data

infrastructure

  • redundant, always-on execution across independent environments
  • deterministic health checks, minutes apart, around the clock
  • tiered alerting — green / yellow / red — with a human at the end of it
  • dead man's switch: no heartbeat, no positions

principles

  1. the systems trade. i maintain the systems.
  2. sizing decides survival. entries are mostly noise.
  3. if it isn't automated, it doesn't exist.
  4. the market owes nothing. the process owes everything.
  5. small edges, compounded, beat strong opinions.

the lore

rough edgescroll

aghanim's scepter is an artifact from dota 2 — the work of a wizard whose other creations are lost to history. it doesn't turn a hero into someone else. it takes the ability they already have and upgrades it — sometimes into something they couldn't do before. that is the entire thesis.

find one edge. keep upgrading it. alphabrain is the scepter; alphacore is the hero.

beyond that, there is not much to tell. the capital is my own, and the systems prefer it quiet.
